DANCE

Picture
MDC's Chance To Dance program provides professional in-school artist residencies that facilitate student achievement of  Hawaii Content and Performance Standards in Fine Arts while integrating the arts with other core curriculum subjects.  Chance To Dance utilizes the arts to deepen understanding of grade level curriculum in Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, Social Studies and PE, offering an engaging and stimulating approach to addressing State and National Educational Standards.

Through a kinesthetic approach to teaching, Chance To Dance creates a diversified learning environment, allowing students to make rich and personalized curricular connections, while building agility, strength, flexibility and coordination.
